Are the Knicks just being stingy and stupid?

First denver is not along artest, and prob not odom. Also if I'm la I'm not getting rid of odom. Second why would the knicks do anything when Carmelo has made it clear he wants to be a knick. If I'm the Knicks I offer randolph & eddy curry, and if rejected just wait until summer to sign him .
