Can a denver county court case be reopened after it was dismissed?

We filed the case, a court date was set, defendant was served but process server did not provide court date nor certificates of service (we thought he was still attempting service and therefore changing the court dates as needed). Defendant appeared, we did not and case was dismissed. Can we reopen??
