Can you swap trannys from a 92 to a 96 accord?

My auto in my 96 accord is going ad I want to swap in a 5spd but can only find the 5spd in the older 92 bodystyle accord. can it be swapped to a 96 with the pedals and shift linkage? Any helps appreciated
