Am i getting sick or is it something else?

Hi, this has been going on for 2 days now. At random times, i get a very bad pain in my left eye. It feels like someone is pressing down on my left eyeball. Not only that, but i get a pain literally on top of my nosebridge. That pain feels like a vein popping, but i check in the mirror and it is perfectly clear. i don't see any bruises/bumps or whatnot. I have to life insurance so i cannot ask the doctor this.
